CJC-1295 (no DAC)
CJC-1295 (no DAC) is a synthetic analog of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). Unlike the DAC-modified version, it lacks the Drug Affinity Complex that binds serum albumin to extend half-life — its research duration profile sits closer to native GHRH and to Sermorelin than to long-acting GHRH analogs.
Mechanism
- GHRH receptor agonism. Binds pituitary GHRH receptors, stimulating a pulsatile release of endogenous growth hormone rather than introducing exogenous GH directly.
- Short half-life. Without DAC, plasma clearance is measured in minutes rather than days, so research protocols typically pair it with more frequent dosing than DAC-modified analogs.
